From his comic torn and restored newspaper
routine to the famous Syrian Sword Box
of Death, Tony Macaroni flies from skill
to skill in a show of breath taking physical
comedy.
Using music, clowning, conjuring and uplifting
audience involvement Tony presents a 40
minute cabaret/circus act that can be
split into segments and performed on almost
any stage both indoors and out.
A man of Irish and Syrian descent, born
a long time ago, dedicated to the live
performing arts who is a prize-winning
graduate from the National Institute of
Dramatic Art (Sydney). Inspired by the
European clown tradition Tony improvises
dance as he performs a skilful yet funny
magic trick. Later he will finish his
act with The Sword Box of Death, where
he is handcuffed, blindfolded, locked
in a Tiny Box and speared through the
body as the audience gasp and laugh. Tony
Macaroni performs in Australia and Europe,
at theatres, festivals, banquet halls
and on the boulevards.
