At the core of Tumble Circus is a dedication to training, learningand constantly pushing the boundaries of their own work. It is theirdesire to create new and exciting circus that both entertains andamazes.

They have studied at one of the leading circus schools in Europe (Circomedia, England ), toured internationally with their shows and withother international companies, they have also worked with some of theleading figures in the circus world of today.

Tumble circus is based in Belfast, N.Ireland.

Adventures in Circus A stunning high octane thrillride of a show. Twofrantic characters, Kenevil (Ireland) and Tina Machina (Sweden), bumbletheir way through a show that took them 56 years, 18 directors and abudget of $5,109,368.23 to perfect. A calamity of circus skillsincluding a dangerous (beautiful, courageous and epic) acrobaticroutine and a silk routine in which Tina demonstrates an understandingof beauty and strength, and a complete lack of understanding ofanything else. Do you remember the first time a man gave you flowers? Kenevil willattempt to recreate that moment for you, with the aid of 3 sunflowers,a 7 m vertical rope, brute strength and total charm. And finally, ifthey haven’t fallen off, hurt themselves badly, broken something,chickened out, given up, messed up, forgotten their props or got shot,they will perform their award winning (Ballygoduff ‘shootingstars’1964) doubles trapeze act. Knot Smart Knot smart, circus, comedy, entertainment - "Give a fool enough rope and he will hang himself". A deeply superficial gawk at the tragic soul of man. Warning - a knot finished act. Original idea abandoned at the start, cheap vanity and second-hand egos will be used and abused in this show.

  • 3 rigging points (Indoor performance)
  • SWL 600 kg,
  • PERFORMING AREA - 3 x 4 m clear area under the rigging points
  • OVERHEAD CLEARANCE - min height 7 m

SET UP AND BUMP OUT TIME

• FOR 'ADVENTURES IN CIRCUS':
  • Stage set up time: 2 hours (including performance preparation)
  • Stage bump out time: 45 minutes
  • Time between performances: Minimum of 45 minutes

  Two able bodied helpers needed, to erect and dismantle the rig.

• FOR 'OVERHEAD LIVEWIRE':
  • Rigging time depends on the venues rigability. Please contact agent for information.

SHOW DURATION

• STREET: 40 - 45 min
• INDOOR: to be negotiated (anything from 10-45 min)
